SCHOOL VISITS
"My school visits are built around my books. They are high energy and are meant to be a fun and memorable experience for students. I emphasize love of reading, the importance of writing well and re-writing, and I also encourage children to understand that their imagination and sense of creativity are important assets that need to be nurtured."

FAQ: What's the charge?
I do not charge for school visits. I ask only that schools send notices home in advance of my visit so that families wishing to buy books can have them signed and inscribed with whatever messages parents wish. I am also happy to donate books when circumstances make that appropriate.
A note from the author
I truly enjoy talking to kids, and I think it’s incredibly important. I have done school visits from coast to coast and doing school presentations is one of the biggest joys in my career.
